Coupons...

So the other day I was flipping through my TV guide and saw that Oprah was on...I dont watch Oprah because I do not agree with her beliefs and the things she say...but the title was about being frugle and how to use coupons and cut costs...so since I am now a wife I figured I could help out and save money by using coupons. The couponmom from couponmom.com was on and she had a challenge to buy breakfast, lunch and dinner for her family of 4 and to cut the cost in half by using deals and coupons. The final price came out to be over $100 and after she used her coupons...the final price was $37. I was amazed! So I went onto my computer and was looking at her website, she has so many different links for coupons online and she goes through and explains how to use coupons and save money. I told Brent all about my plan, that I am going to get the Sunday paper and cut out coupons...the key is to plan your meals around what is on sale at the grocery store and what coupons you have. I ordered a coupon organzier book that divideds the coupons by categories and date, store...etc. I really hope I can stick to this, especially in this days economy, we could all save a little money.

So I came here from Tessa's blog and was so excited about your couponing. It's so much fun if you have time and patience. Now I see that Tessa already mentioned me. :) (that's funny) I also like moneysavingmom.com...and if you shop at Publix, my friend Sarah does all of their sales with coupon matchups at http://fiddledeedeeblog.blogspot.com/.
Have fun and keep track of how much you save so you see how much your effort pays off!
